Our journey begins with love
I’m Mandy, and my journey with dachshunds began out of pure love for this incredible breed. What started in 2021 with shorthaired and longhaired dachshunds quickly turned into a lifelong passion. In 2021, I brought home my very first dachshund, and from that moment on I knew I had found my heart breed. There’s just something special about those long and smooth coats, sweet faces, and loving temperaments that stole my heart completely.
Our passion and purpose
At Alabama Heart of Dachshunds, my goal is to create well-balanced, healthy and absolutely stunning dachshunds. Every puppy is raised right here in my home, surrounded by love, socialization, and attention from day one. They are part of my family, and I work hard to make sure each one is confident, affectionate, and ready for their forever home. Breeding dachshunds isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s my passion and my purpose.
Our unique breeding approach
Led by breeder Mandy, Alabama Heart of Dachshunds focuses on breeding long-haired and short-haired dachshunds. The emphasis is on raising healthy and happy puppies that are well-socialized and loved from the start, living in a family environment.
The health and well-being of our puppies are paramount. All puppies are vet-checked at 6 to 7 weeks and go home with a comprehensive goody bag. New puppy owners receive frequent updates with pictures and videos, ensuring they are part of the puppy's early life. We maintain a strong connection with puppy parents even after adoption, offering ongoing support and updates.
